The new system will feature enhanced UI and workflow, with distinct roles for Admin, Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Site Login, and User Login, each with specific functionalities such as site creation, notice management, and reporting. Key features include a mobile app with native options for offline mode and push notifications, improving accessibility and efficiency for users working in diverse environments. Delivery management system (DMS) is a web application with the purpose of managing data related to deliveries and resource bookings for construction sites. Multiple sites can be created within the system and details of each site will be maintained independently.
There are four main types of users within the system
Admin: Responsible for general management of the overall system.
Site Manager: Responsible for managing and running a single construction site.
Sub-contractor: Personnel from external sub-contractor companies working on a site.
Gatekeeper: Guards working on site perimeter responsible for checking and allowing incoming deliveries of construction materials.
